This Collection contains a file on the refurbishment of Drakes Steps, Deptford. It includes plans, photographs, correspondence and a history of the Steps. Drake's Steps, Deptford, here, Sir Francis Drake was knighted by Queen Elizabeth I on board his ship, the Golden Hind, following his circumnavigation of the globe.
